Methods for Adding Contacts:
Add Contacts Manually: Add a few contacts at a time directly into the system. This is ideal for smaller groups or adding contacts individually.
Upload a File: Import a large number of contacts from a spreadsheet. This method is perfect for adding many contacts at once.
Add from Existing Contacts: Quickly add contacts who are already saved in your CallingPost account to a new group. This saves you time and effort.
Add through a Text Keyword: Allow people to join your group themselves by texting a specific keyword to your CallingPost number. This is a great way to grow your group organically.
Detailed Steps for Each Method:
From the main CallingPost dashboard, click on the "Groups & Contacts" tab.
Select the group you want to add contacts to.
Click the "Add Contacts" button.
Choose "Add Manually."
Enter the contact's information (First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email Address - optional).
Click "Save" to add the contact.
Repeat for each contact you want to add.
From the main CallingPost dashboard, click on the "Groups & Contacts" tab.
Select the group you want to add contacts to.
Click the "Add Contacts" button.
Choose "Upload a File."
Click "Choose File" and select your CSV or XLSX file.
Map the columns in your file to the corresponding fields in CallingPost (First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email Address - optional).
Click "Import Contacts."

Pro Tip: Include a header row in your file with column names like "First Name," "Last Name," "Phone Number," and "Email Address" for easier importing.

Choose "Add from Existing Contacts."
Select the contacts you want to add from the list of your existing contacts.
Click "Add Selected Contacts."

Click the "Edit Group" button.
Look for the "Text Keyword" section.
Enter a unique keyword that people can text to join your group (e.g., "JOINMYGROUP").
Provide this keyword to people who you want to join your group. When they text the keyword to your CallingPost number, they will automatically be added to the group.
