Here's a step-by-step guide on how to add contacts already in your account to a group:

  1. Go to Groups & Contacts: Navigate to the Groups & Contacts tab in your CallingPost dashboard.

  2. Choose a Group: Select the specific group where you want to add existing contacts.

  3. Add New Contact: Click the Add Contacts button.

  4. Add From Existing: Choose the option Add From Existing Contacts. This will display a list of all contacts currently saved in your CallingPost account.

  5. Select Contacts: Check the boxes next to the names of the contacts you want to add to the selected group.

  6. Add to Group: Click the Add Selected Contacts to Group button to finalize the process.

Important Note:

  • If a contact is already a member of the selected group, their name will not appear in the list of existing contacts.

  • Be aware that actions taken on contacts added to a group this way will have the following effects across all groups where that contact exists:

    • Editing: Any changes you make to a contact's information (name, phone number, email address) will be applied to that contact in every group they are part of.

    • Deleting: Removing a contact will delete them entirely from your CallingPost account and all associated groups.

    • Marking Inactive: If you mark a phone number as inactive for a contact, it will become inactive for that contact in all groups.
