Adding Existing Contacts to a Group

Use this method to organize contacts already saved in your CallingPost account into specific groups.

How to Add Contacts

  • Access Groups: Navigate to the Groups & Contacts tab on your dashboard.

  • Select Target: Click on the specific group you want to populate.

  • Open Group Menu: Click the Add Contacts button and select Add From Existing Contacts.

  • Select Members: Check the boxes next to the names you wish to add.

    • Note: If a contact is already in the selected group, they will not appear in this list.

  • Finalize: Click Add Selected Contacts to Group.

Important: Global Contact Sync

When you add a contact to multiple groups, their information remains linked. Any changes you make will apply across all groups they belong to:

  • Editing: Updating a name, phone number, or email changes it everywhere.

  • Marking Inactive: Setting a phone number to inactive applies that status to all associated groups.

  • Deleting: Removing a contact deletes them entirely from your account and all groups they were part of.
