Whether you want to send a message immediately or save one for future use, CallingPost offers two straightforward workflows:

Option 1: Save to Message Library

Best for templates and pre-planned communications.

  • Access: Navigate to the Message Library and click Create a Message.

  • Identify: Enter a "Message Name" for your records and select Text Message as the type.

  • Configure: Choose your delivery method (Shortcode 24251 or Toll-Free) and enter your name in the From box.

  • Compose: Type your content. Note the character count to track credit usage (SMS Max: 320 | Enhanced Max: 1000).

  • Finalize: Click Save. You can choose to send it immediately or keep it for later.

Option 2: Send a New Communication

Best for real-time updates and one-time messages.

  • Access: Click New Communication from the main menu.

  • Target: Select the Group you wish to reach.

  • Setup: Name your message, select Text Message, and click Next to Create a Message.

  • Compose: Set your "From" name and type your message in the text box.

  • Review: Click Next to add an optional email, then select Review and Confirm to send your broadcast.

Important Details

  • Character Counts: The system displays your character count as you type. Exceeding 160 characters may use additional text credits.

  • From Name: Always include your organization’s name so recipients know who is texting them.

  • Shortcode: Most messages are delivered via our standard shortcode: 24251.
