What is a Unique Contact?

Understanding how CallingPost counts unique contacts is important for managing your account and plan. Your Unlimited plan's tier and pricing are determined by the number of unique contacts you have in your account within a given monthly billing cycle.

Defining a Unique Contact:

In CallingPost, a unique contact is determined by the greater of the total number of unique phone numbers or the total number of unique email addresses associated with your contacts in a given monthly billing cycle.

  • A single person can have one phone number and one email address associated with their contact entry. This counts as one unique contact.

  • If a contact has additional phone numbers listed under their name, each additional phone number is considered a separate unique contact. This allows you to reach the same person on multiple devices but ensures fair usage of our unlimited plans.

  • The primary email address associated with a phone number does not count as an additional unique contact.

  • Important: If the total number of unique email addresses across all your contacts exceeds the total number of unique phone numbers, then the unique contact count for billing purposes will be based on the total number of unique email addresses.

Viewing Your Unique Contact Count:

Here's how to view your current unique contact count:

  • For Monthly Plans: The current unique member count is displayed in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
