Understanding Your Call Statuses
When reviewing your delivery report, every contact called will be assigned one of the following system statuses:
Connected (Live): A live person answered the phone, said hello, and your message was successfully played.
Answering Machine: The call was successfully routed to an answering machine or voicemail system, and the message was left for the recipient to review later.
Intercept: The telephone company intercepted our phone call. This means the carrier could not route the call at that specific moment. This can happen due to a temporary service disruption, or it could mean the number is disconnected or out of service.
UnReachable: We received a notification from the phone carrier that the message could not be delivered. This typically happens if the number is roaming, unable to accept messages, or has been disconnected.
⚠️ Important Note on Repeated Failures: A single Intercept or UnReachable status on a report could just be a temporary issue. However, if a contact shows a continued pattern of delivery failures across several unique broadcasts, our system will automatically step in and pause sending to them to protect your account's carrier delivery rating. See our guide on What Does Intercept Mean? to learn how to clear and reactivate these numbers.
