If a member of your group states they are not receiving your phone calls, it is usually caused by one of three blocking barriers. Follow this guide to identify and fix the issue.
1. Blocked via the CallingPost System
If a member accidentally or intentionally used our automated opt-out system during a previous call, their phone number will appear highlighted in Red on your group contact list.
How to Fix It: For security and compliance, a user must opt themselves back in. The member must call CallingPost Customer Care directly at 877-665-5646 from the blocked phone line to verify their identity and request an opt-in.
Alternative Option: They can dial back the 405-CallingPost Caller ID number from their phone and follow the automated interactive prompts to manually unblock themselves.
2. Blocked on their Personal Device
If the member's number is not showing as red on your contact list, but they are still not receiving your calls, they may have accidentally blocked the CallingPost Caller ID on their individual smartphone.
For iPhone Users:
Open device Settings, then scroll down and tap Phone.
Tap Call Blocking and Identification.
Tap Edit in the top right-hand corner.
Tap the red minus/delete button next to any blocked CallingPost prefixes (405-308, 405-669, or 405-754) and select Unblock.
For Android Users:
Open the native Contacts or Phone app, open the Menu (three dots), and select Settings.
Tap Block Numbers (or Call Rejection > Auto Reject List depending on the manufacturer).
Locate the CallingPost numbers or prefixes, select them, and tap the minus sign or trashcan icon to clear the block.
3. Carrier Spam Filtering
To maintain the highest delivery rates in the industry and bypass carrier updates, CallingPost rotates broadcasts across 290+ local Oklahoma City default Caller IDs. Occasionally, an over-aggressive mobile carrier filter may flag one of these rotated lines, causing your report to show an unexpected "Intercept" or "Busy" status.
The Pro-Tip Solution: Enable the "Press 1" option at the beginning of your message setup. Requiring a button press immediately proves to the carrier that a human interacting with the phone wants the message, drastically improving delivery across strict carrier filters.
System Action: If you notice a widespread, sudden spike of Intercept or Busy statuses across a massive percentage of your group list during a single broadcast, please contact us immediately at 877-665-5646 so our network engineering team can investigate the carrier route.
