Master the email editor to create professional layouts, manage attachments, and ensure your messages are delivered successfully.
1. Adding Attachments
You can attach files directly to your emails, provided they meet these requirements:
Total Size Limit: 2 MB per email.
Allowed File Types: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, JPG, PNG, BMP, WAV, TXT.
File Naming: Keep names under 50 characters and avoid special characters (e.g., use
Newsletter.pdfinstead of[email protected]).
2. Managing Links & Formatting
To protect your email's deliverability and prevent spam flags, the editor automatically "strips" links when you copy and paste text from other documents.
To Add Links: Highlight your text, click the Link Icon (chain link), and paste your URL.
Pro Tip: Set the "Target" to New Window (_blank) so the link opens in a new tab without closing the recipient's email.
3. Workspace Tips for Success
Optimize Your View: If the editor feels crowded on a large monitor, click the Maximize icon (four-way arrow) in the toolbar to enter Full-Screen mode.
Quick Clear: To instantly remove placeholder text in a template, click inside the box and press Ctrl + A then Backspace.
Template Personalization: Easily swap out CallingPost placeholder images with your own organization’s logo for a consistent, branded look.
Troubleshooting the Editor
Buttons Covered? If the help messenger is blocking your "Save" button, adjust your browser zoom to 90% (Ctrl + Minus key).
Link Not Clicking? Double-check that you used the Link Icon rather than just pasting the raw URL text.
Ready to send? Once your design is finished, click Save and Continue to select your recipients and schedule your delivery.
