Resolving Email Delivery Issues

We understand it can be frustrating when you're not receiving important email communications. Here's a detailed breakdown of why this might be happening and how to resolve it:

An undelivered email occurs when a message is sent to a member, but the delivery fails for one of the following reasons:

  • Invalid Email Address: The email address we have on file may contain a typo, no longer exist, or the domain may be invalid.

  • Spam Content (if the Spam Checker app is enabled): Our automated system may have flagged the content of a particular email as potentially spam, preventing its delivery. This is a separate issue from a member manually marking our emails as spam.

  • Unsubscribed Address: You have previously opted out of receiving emails from us, either by clicking an unsubscribe link at the bottom of a received email or through another method.

  • Bounced Address: The recipient's email server has rejected our email. This can happen for various reasons, such as a full mailbox, a temporary server issue on their end, or a permanently inactive account. These are often referred to as "hard bounces."

  • Spam Reporting Address: You (or your email provider on your behalf) have previously marked our emails as spam. This signals to email providers that you do not want to receive further communications from us.

Here's how you can take action to restart receiving our emails or request removal from our system:

If you want to restart receiving emails, you must do the following:

  1. Send a new Email to: <[email protected]> with the following exact text in the body of the email:

I mistakenly marked CallingPost emails as spam. Please remove this complaint so I can continue receiving your emails.
  2. Include [The account users Email Address] in the "CC" or "To" field of this email so we can follow up on your request and confirm the action has been taken.

If you do not want to restart emails, reply to the email you received this article in and add the following exact text to your reply:

Please remove my email address from the YIH email system.

For members who have unsubscribed or whose emails have bounced, you can also attempt to re-subscribe directly:

  1. Visit the Re-subscription Link: Go to https://apps.callingpost.com/#/emailSubscription.

  2. Enter Your Email: Type the email address you wish to re-subscribe and click "Submit."

  3. Confirm via Email: You will immediately receive a confirmation email in your inbox. You must open this email and click the confirmation link (or button) within it to finalize your re-subscription. This step verifies your intent to receive our emails again.

You should see a confirmation message on the website after submitting your email, and the confirmation email in your inbox will look similar to this:

A request was made to subscribe "your email address here" to all future CallingPost Emails. To verify and authorize this subscription please click the subscribe button below.

Completing the confirmation step in your email inbox is essential to restart receiving our communications.

Important Note: Even after successfully re-subscribing via the link, if your email address was also added to our internal block list. We suggest sending an email to <[email protected]> to ensure complete removal from all suppression lists.

By understanding these reasons and following the appropriate steps, you can effectively manage your email preferences with us. If you continue to experience issues after following these instructions, please don't hesitate to contact us directly through other available channels.
