Scheduling a Recurring Message

Save time by automating your routine communications. Set your message once, and CallingPost will deliver it daily, weekly, or monthly.

Note: Recurring messaging is a premium feature. Subscription plans (Essentials or Premium) are required to access this option; it is not available on Pay-As-You-Go credit plans.

How to Set Up Your Automation

  • Prepare Your Message: Create a new communication or select one from your Message Library.

  • Select Your Audience: Choose the contact group(s) you want to receive the repeating message.

  • Configure the Schedule:

    • Click the Schedule button and select the Recurring option.

    • Frequency: Choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.

    • Time of Day: Specify exactly what time you want the messages to go out.

    • Start & End Dates: Select when the automation should begin and—most importantly—when it should end.

Important Recurring Notes

  • The End Date: Always specify an end date to prevent messages from sending indefinitely after a campaign or event has concluded.

  • Processing Time: Recurring messages typically enter our sending queue approximately 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time to ensure they are delivered right on schedule.

  • Library Management: You can view, edit, or delete your active automations at any time by visiting the Recurring Messages section of your Message Library.

Best Practices

  • Plan Upgrades: If you are currently on a Pay-As-You-Go plan and need this feature, visit your Account Settings to explore subscription options.

  • Content Updates: If your meeting details change, remember to edit the saved message in your Library so the correct info sends in the next cycle.
