How to Create Your Phone Message

CallingPost offers four flexible ways to create audio for your phone broadcasts. Choose the method that best suits your situation:

Four Ways to Record

  • Call My Phone: Best if you don’t have a computer microphone. The system calls your phone, and you record your message through your handset.

  • Use Microphone: The quickest way to record. Simply speak into your computer or mobile device’s built-in microphone.

  • Use Keyboard (Text-to-Speech): Type your message and choose an automated voice to read it. Perfect for a professional, consistent sound without recording your own voice.

  • Upload .WAV File: Ideal if you have a pre-recorded professional audio file or a message saved from another source.

Optional Phone Delivery Features

After your message is created, you can customize how it is delivered:

  • Straight to Voicemail: Sends the message directly to the recipient's voicemail without ringing the phone.

  • Multi-Channel Delivery: Simultaneously send your audio as a Text Message Link or an Email Attachment.

  • Live Answer Transfer (LAT): Give recipients the option to press 0 to be transferred to a live person or a different department.

Tip: If you aren't sure which one to pick, most users find Use Microphone to be the fastest option!
