Why do I have to validate my custom phone number?

Beginning January 31, 2024, the Federal Communications Commission's [FCC] rule change will require ALL custom toll-free phone numbers to be verified before sending the first message using your Custom Toll-Free Number. This change is an industry-wide requirement and not under our control.

If you do not complete the validation process your custom phone number will only be available to use as a caller id for outbound phone messages.

For caller id settings choose System Settings- Communications Settings.

You will be able to see your number in the drop down default options for Caller id.

You will not be able to see your number in the drop down default option for text messages.
