Text polls/surveys allow you to ask questions and collect responses from your audience via text message.

Key Features:

  • Engage your audience with interactive polls.

  • Gather valuable feedback.

  • Options for Yes, No, or Maybe answers (or customizable options).

How to Create a Text Poll/Survey:

Need a quick and easy way to get feedback from your contacts via text message? Our SMS survey (or text polling) feature lets you ask a question and gather "Yes," "No," or "Maybe" responses. Here's how to set it up:

  1. Create Your Text Message: Compose your message as usual in the text message editor.

  2. Enable Text Polling: Locate the "Enable Text Polling" option (usually a checkbox or toggle) within the message editor. Click or toggle this option to turn on the survey feature for your message.

  3. Send Your Message: Send your text message. A link to the survey will be automatically added to the end of your message. Recipients can click this link to respond.

  4. View Responses: Track and view all responses on the "Status & Results" page in your account.

Example:

Your Message: "What do you think of the new website? Let us know! πŸ‘ Yes πŸ‘Ž No πŸ€” Maybe"

Recipient's View: "What do you think of the new website? Let us know! [Survey Link]"

Important Notes:

  • Short Code Best Practices: If you're sending from our short code (24251), we strongly recommend not using the polling feature in your very first message to a contact. Instead, initially invite your contacts to opt in to receive texts from you. Then use the polling feature in subsequent messages to gather their feedback. This ensures compliance with best practices and helps avoid any issues with mobile carriers.

  • Plan Availability: This feature is included with our Subscription plans. Pay-as-you-go plans require an upgrade to access SMS surveys.
