You can easily update the name of your contact groups within CallingPost to better reflect their purpose or content. Here's how:
Steps to Rename a Group:
Navigate to Groups & Contacts: From the main CallingPost dashboard, click on the Groups & Contacts tab.
Select the Group: Locate and click the name of the group you wish to rename from your list of groups.
Access Edit Options: Click on the Tools menu (it may be represented by a gear icon or three dots) and select Edit Group Name.
Enter New Name: In the pop-up window that appears, type the new, descriptive name for your group.
Save Changes: Click the Save button to apply the new name.
Why Rename a Group?
Updated Purpose: Rename groups to reflect changes in their focus, such as a shift in event themes or project goals.
Improved Clarity: Ensure group names are clear and easily understandable for efficient contact management.
Important Notes:
Scheduled Messages: Changing a group's name will not affect any messages that have already been scheduled for that group.
Character Limit: Group names are limited to a maximum of 65 characters.
