We are always working hard to find and fix any issues within our system as quickly as possible. Our goal is to be your effortless communications tool! If you encounter a bug, please contact our Client Success team to ensure it will be fixed in an upcoming update.
Today’s update focuses on ensuring your messages aren’t just sent, but heard. With the rise of aggressive carrier spam filters and third-party blocking apps, we’re providing new tools and best practices to help you navigate the modern "spam-blocker" landscape.
🛠️ New Tool: Updated V-Card for Your Members
To help your group stay connected, we have updated our official V-Card to include our latest block of 150 caller IDs (bringing our total to over 290+ numbers).
The Goal: Encourage your members to download and save this V-Card to their phone contacts.
The Impact: This helps carriers recognize our numbers as "known contacts," significantly increasing the chance your calls bypass automated spam filters.
🛡️ Best Practice: Using Your Own Caller ID
While we provide a pool of numbers for your convenience, using your own validated Caller ID is the gold standard for trust and deliverability.
Trust Factor: Members are more likely to pick up a call from a number they recognize.
Compliance: Certain call types (such as political or non-general informative messages) require the use of your own Caller ID.
One vs. Many: When you use your own ID, members only need to "whitelist" or save one number. Using the CallingPost pool requires them to manage 290+ numbers.
🔍 Troubleshooting "Missing" Calls
Even when our system shows a "Live Answer" or "Answering Machine" delivery, some members may claim they never received the call. This is often due to Carrier-Level Spam Apps that intercept calls before the phone even rings.
How to help your members:
Check the Spam Folder: Ask members to check their "Recents" or "Spam" list in their phone app.
Whitelist the Number: If they find a CallingPost number flagged as spam, they must manually mark it as "Not Spam" or "Whitelist" it within their specific carrier app (e.g., AT&T ACTIVE Armor, Verizon Call Filter).
Save the V-Card: This remains the easiest way for less technically-inclined members to ensure they receive your updates. Click Here for How to steps
