πŸ’‘ Prevent 'Clunky' Performance: The Save & Edit Workflow

If you are spending time scripting an email or using the Call Me feature to record audio, your browser session can occasionally "time out." To protect your work:

  • Save First: Type your text/email and click 'Save to Library' before you start your recording.

  • Edit to Record: Go back into the library and Edit the message to perform the 'Call Me' recording.

  • The Benefit: This 'locks in' your work and prevents "Red Box" errors caused by long periods of inactivity while on the phone bridge.

Why is my member not receiving my call?

There are several reasons why a member may not be getting your phone call:

1. Blocked via CallingPost System

If a member used our automated blocking system, their number will appear in red on your group list.

  • To Unblock: The member must call Customer Care at 877-665-5646 from the blocked phone to verify and opt back in.

  • Alternative: They can call back the 405-CallingPost Caller ID and follow the prompts to unblock.

2. Blocked on their Personal Cell Phone

If the number isn't red in your list, the member may have blocked the Caller ID on their device.

  • iPhone Instructions: 1. In Settings, go to Phone > Call Blocking and Identification. 2. Tap Edit (top right). 3. Tap the red delete button next to the CallingPost prefixes (405-308, 405-669, or 405-754). 4. Select Unblock.

  • Android Instructions: 1. Open Contacts > Menu > Settings > Call. 2. Tap Call Rejection > Auto Reject List. 3. Select and hold the CallingPost number and tap the Trashcan icon to remove it.

3. Carrier Spam Filtering

To improve delivery and stay ahead of carrier changes, CallingPost uses 290+ Oklahoma City Default Caller IDs.

  • Results: These may show as "Intercept" or "Busy" in your call history if a carrier is filtering the call.

  • Action: If you see a large number of these results, please call 877-665-5646 so we can investigate.

  • Pro-Tip: Use the "Press 1" option at the beginning of your message to improve successful delivery when a live person answers the phone.
